I heard the eyelet for the d rings is a bad place to winch and snatch on, DO i need to put factory tow hooks on both sides of my bumper? What do you guys use?

The eyelet on the ARB indeed is not a strong point. I've been towed and snatched on my arb. The eyelet is a little bent but nothing I wouldn't expect from the situation I was in.

I use a ARB d-ring.

Those are the size I've got.

I'll state my experience. I bent my tow point before I had D-rings. I was being winched out by another truck at a undesired angle. The winch bent the tow pint a little. If I had a d-ring probably would have never happened.

The ARB tow point are plenty strong enough for a snatch block. Even if you are using factory tow hooks a winch will bend it.
