btt? For what? Did you ever get the prototype installed? Lets see some pics? I know I want one, but it will be another year before I start working on getting one. I really like the NWFab unit do to being able to use any 300 type case and it is a doubler, where as the Atlas makes you buy the 4 speed case to double down.

It's just been a while since anyone has commented on this thread and i thought it might catch a new eye.
My truck is appart right now. the atlas has been in and out of my truck a few times over the last few days for pictures for install instructions, and also solving a minor issue with shifters hitting the tranny. right now i'm waiting on a few things from Advance adapters to fix the problem. i should be up and running this week. Big Grin

I've been keeping up with this thread on your work/business forum. You already know what my interests are.

How are the shifters hitting the tranny? Your not running a remote advance adapters shifter kit? I've done some looking on my truck and I cant see any way around not going with a remote linkage kit.

Yes i'm running cable shifters, the mounting hardware for the cable shifter comming off of the transfercase were hitting the tranny a little. there is a part of the trans casting that exteneds out that is drilled and tapped for the stock 4wd shifter mounting bracket to bolt to.. i just cut it off.

I ran the Atlas over the weekend at the West Coast Meet.. works awesome!!!

as far as the 4-cyl version goes.. it depends on how popular the V-6 models end up being.

I'll be writing an article on the install and i'll be sure to post a link to the article when it's posted online, hopefully by friday.

I just thought i'd give you guys a heads up, and let you know that these are done.

I honestly don't know exactly what the shaft was treated but i'll have more details on it for you very soon.
