Alloy axles? Not likely, we would have to try REAL hard to break an H233B axle, even with 35" tires.

Diff gears would make me keep my h233b when i do the swap eventually.

quote: Steve mentioned it might be a possibility. Consider this however, Guys with Ford 9" still twist their Moser axles with 35+ size tires. It's gonna happen, and you'll see it more often when we all start running bigger tires on our axles. Not to get in an axle debate, I know our axles are damn strong, but it sure would be nice to have it as strong as possible. 10 fingers, 10 toes, 20 reasons to die! |

Nobody is gonna twist the 233b axles with stock pathetic Nissan power. Guys twisting the 9" run V8's or sick gearing....or both.
Well, someone might break one doing a full throttle assault on something...if they don't kill their driveline first. 1998 Frontier 4x4 with ALL the goodies! 2002 Xterra 4x4 still stock Stop urban sprawl and advocate multi-use of public lands! It's YOUR passtime; get active and help save it! |

I could see it possibly happening with crawler gears, diff gears, and lots of skinny pedal.

D21/WD21 SKID PLATES!!! Front, engine (maybe a front/engine combo) tranny (for autos too), maybe a TC, and why not a gas tank...though our stock ones aren't bad.

Slip Yoke Eliminator is in the works. It's the testing phase right now, along with the SAS prototype. I wouldn't expect the SYE to be available for pre-order until next year at best. SAS, I'd guess on at least a couple years there. U-Bolt flip kit. Those are easy to make! I made mine from 1/2" plate, welded on 1/8" wall 1.5" square tube on top capped w/ 1/32" sheet metal for the bump stop to hit, and drilled four holes to accept 9/16" Grade 8 U-bolts. I'm mounting my shocks the same way Calmini did on their SAS Hardbody.
