Judging by the way the spotter on the left was leaning without falling over, I would guess that this was a hill. Another clue was in how fast DBAX rolled backwards when he released the clutch. crazy

Jesus...

Another near disaster, brought to you by Dbax. That's about as close to rolling as you can get.

I've done that obstacle. Just not that fast.

Some day one of us will roll and someone will get hurt. So few Nissans seem to have roll protection, that better change.

Yeah...the other day, I almost joined the "I rolled my Nissan" club about 4 times in ONE day. Big Grin Let me just say that turning completely around on a hill that's at a 40-50 degree incline....is NOT FUN!!!!! (Holy ass-pucker factor) But, nonetheless, me and my friend are both fine, and so is my truck. We definitely need some Roll Protection though!!!!!! Later...

Funny how I'm the only one in any group I've ever been in here who wasn't locked or geared, even SASd who'd try this obstacle, same as Widowmaker.. Sure, I could've gone slower, but w/o gears or a locker, I knew what it'd take to get to the tippy part, then it became a matter of finesse. I got to about 10 feet from the spot when I got FUBAR this year w/ the same drivetrain last year. No one should second guess me, not unless they're willing to give it a shot themselves. Chug

Talking w/ Steve K about what happened yesterday and exactly what's been mentioned above, and there may in fact be a CALMINI interior cage in the works, maybe.. Smile

If it has tits or tires, you're gonna' have problems...

I don't know that anyone is second guessing you per se.

I wouldn't champion it either. The video I saw was very very unsafe driving whether anyone else has "attempted" it unlocked or not.

Which is fine if all you hurt is your truck and not some innocent bystander or spotter.

You drive like that, we all know. You like to say you have done stuff that other people haven't in a similar equipped vehicle, we know, we get it. Chug

But Dan, if everyone were to call you the man on this board like on XOC and some kid sees it and thinks thats how to attempt an obstacle like that and then got hurt I would feel horrible.

I'm glad no one got hurt, I'm glad you and Jessica had fun.

BTW what happened to your gears and the SAS?

Meh.

Dan was the man because he has 20 lives, just to clarify.

I respect your opinion Marshal, thanks for your reply.

I posted here in response to what's being said, only because anyone who drives on the edge with their Nissan, and understands what it's like to come close is here on N4W, not the XOC. Smile

Sorry but if you are open and no gears the only way I see anyone making it is throttle. However it has been fun to watch Dan in the past 2 years.
