yup. i dont like anyone working on my truck even if they wanna do it for free! id have to be pretty hard up to pay someone.
i had never done a clutch job before, never even dropped a transmission but i got mine done in a weekend while taking it easy so i didnt screw up. if i were to do it again and no probs came up, i could do it in a day easy. |

The dealer is the only place I'm going to take my truck when it's clutch time.
Only 2 things I'll take my truck to the dealer for. Timing belt and a clutch job. Two important things I've seen way to many shops F-up. 1995 KC XE-V6 4x4. |

That's what I was thinking. Hell, rebuilding the tranny is easy. 2004 Titan-fairly stock, '89 Nissan sas swap in progress d60/9", 9", 5.43's/arb's, 38.5x16x15"tsls/beadlocks, winch/air, 3.3L |

So you're in the middle of doing a solid axle swap but you can't swap out a clutch? It is 11ty billion times easier than a SAS. I know its a jeep thing..... thats why I drive a nissan. |

It's not that I don't know how. More like I'm not willing to. There are 2 things I hate doing on a Nissan truck. Complete timing job and dropping the tranny. Might be a different world on a sas'd Nissan. 1995 KC XE-V6 4x4. |

It is a night and day difference. I could drop the tranny in both of my SAS'd nissans in under two hours. I know its a jeep thing..... thats why I drive a nissan. |

I'll still have one crossmember to drop, and one upper control arm, but other that, it won't be too bad. Must have had the T-case on and off a 1/2 dozen times getting my new mounts fabbed up.
