Seeing Bob's progress page made me think a thread like this would be cool. I love watching the progression of vehicles, especially over time. So post up your "then and now" pics, and let's see how far people have come Wink

Allow me to start. I've owned Mongo for 5 years, but have been working on it for the past 3.5-4 years.

Relatively bone stock, 2wd:

Added a body lift and front bumper, as well as shavedthe tailgate, and had a roll pan, and stepped up to 31s:

Here is the truck, still 2wd, with a Fabtech lift, still on 31s:

...and now, SAS'ed, 4wd converted, and on 33s, with a bobbed bed and roll bar:

This is the truck when I first brought it home:

This is a few months later on it's first real trip (camping on the rim), new tires and wheels, tire carrier added, new exhaust, fuel injection conversion:

Here it is now, new exhaust, trussed rear axle, shackle flip, new rear bumper, different tires and wheels, new top, new engine, crossover steering, blah blah blah.......

damn money pit... crazy

I forgot about this thread. Here is how it sits today. 38.5" tires and 1 ton axles (D60 and 14Bolt).

The day I bought it. Thats the GOOD side!

3/4 Ton running gear (J's toy in the background)

Painted and lookin Purdy

Playin' in Hawaii

How bad the body started to get before the frame-off

This is how bare the frame got. 2 Frame rails, 4 Crossmembers, and most of the brackets left.

Basically as it sits now. Put over 1000 miles on it since it was put together again.

And one poser pic

And all I do with it now is commute to work and back every day =)
