Anyone know where I can find a chart that will tell what size I.D. to use with specific size taps, as well as the O.D. for the Die's. Particularly with the 1/2"-2" sizes since those are usaully bought individually and rarely come with the info. Thanks.

Very cool, thanks or the links. I had also found this one in my search. I'd also like to find a Die chart just for the info.

CAn't ya just crack open your drill index and size a drill bit up by eye? CAn't expect me to believe you're actually going to be only looking at some little bitty numbers, diameters, or letters Razz

That would work with sizes less than 1/2 inch but I needed 3/4-16 and 1 1/4-18 since I bought the taps individually. They did not come with that info.

A lot of taps will actually have the drill bit size etched onto them along with the tap size/thread pitch. My Harbor Freight tap and die sets came with nice charts too.
