i dont know you ever said that installing Thorleys headers on a pathfinder was easy because its not. drive line goes thru the cross over, smog stuff had to be changed, and the 4 broken manifold studs didnt make it any easier, but its done. vroom vroom. I will try to get pix tomorrow.

Really! wow, In my '95 they were practically a drop in. It wasn't easy because there was lots to do but I didn't have any problems with anything being in the way or anything.

i just think the big part is the drive line, under full compressioin it would come up and hit the cross over. if the IFS was still there and with no lift it would have been easier.

Will the cruise control hold on a hill? Was the trouble and cost worthwhile?
IMHO this has to do with auto or manual before anything else.
WIth my auto, stock gears and 32" tires, NO
With my manual stock tires, more weight and 32" tires, the cruise control never flinches. I believe Barry's is the same and he is running 35" tires and has a manual.

I have 35s and 4.88gears. CC works awesome. I can maintain 70-75mph with AC on no problem. No major mountains around here. But slow sweeping hills. Stock VG30 167k engine with headers, glasspack, (stock old cat) and slightly opened up airbox with stock paper element.
Barry 93 D21 King Cab SE - 35s, SAS + stuff 92 Pathfinder SE - Auto SAS 3 link 04 Quest SE - stock, perfect!!!
I am in Eugene Oregon, I don’t have cruise, and never towed anything, but yes it holds its own a little better climbing a hill. And IMO don’t spend the $400 on it, I should have gotten a winch, bead locks or at least something that makes an obvious improvement.
