you could just find a piece of thick wall tubing that has an inner diameter the same as the outside diameter of the uniball and press it in. weld a collar to the top to stop it from going all the way through. Weld on your hoops for your control arm and your done.

89 Nissan Pathfinder, 4" trailmaster Suspension lift, 1.5" rear lift coils, Rancho 9000x all round, 3" body lift, sway-away torsion bars, big stereo, rebuilt and transplanted hauss engine and trans. 33x12.50 bfg mud shoes on 15x10 polished aluminum wheels.
makin room for 35s

A spherical bearing usually comes with the unibal and housing together as one part.

you could buy them separate but it'll take a hydraulic press to press the uniball into the housing.

Make sure you but housing that have Teflon lining.

The uniball is assembled, you were just looking for the "mount" for the uniball that you weld on to your UCA.

I almost posted "Every time I see uniball I think Lance Armstrong", but I decided to post a serious comment instead.

All the parts I deal with do not have separate housings. The part is manufactured to accept a uniball. As fare as aviation parts go.

That would also work if you had a Mill to bore out the part to accept the uniball. For DIY fab work they sell pre-milled parts to weld in where you need them.
