So was the hammer the only tool it took to get the old ones off?

Very nice start with the washer tubs, I guess you found some without the ceramic?

Masonry hammer and leather gloves is all it took. lol

The coating on the dryer drum popped off every place I had to bend it. That is the white chips all in the back of the truck. Frown

OMG, you truly live up to your screen name.

Dayum, didn't realize your truck was that rotted.

I like AZ, there's hardly any rust anywhere. Nice work on the bed repair.

I'll remind you of that when July rolls around. Big Grin

Truth is, this truck would not have made a good PARTS truck when I bought it. The title says "FLOOD DAMAGED" right on the front. The frame is seriously out of whack in the front, indicating a major wreck / repair. The engine and tranny were on their way out, as was the rear. It had no rear brakes. Only the backing plate remained on the left side. The interior smelled like a dead wet dog in a sleazy motel room on a hot summer day. Shall I go on?

What can I say? Everybody needs a hobby, right? Roll Eyes

Here's what I got done today. Obviously I have more patching and seam-sealing to do.

WOW ingenuity at it's best. I've never seen a truck from the south with that much rust before.
