A few specs when it's done-

front- Converted Toyota axle, shaved,lock-right,high steer,3-link....
rear- h233b welded, re-pack the leafs. I have an extra set of 31 spline axle shafts so i plan on running the stock rear untill i break it....and if that happens i have a 89 Toyota rear that we'll use & 3-link that.

Super swamper Q78s, they measure 36x11.5

Plus a lot of time and labor, I’m lucky to have a friend who is good at fabrication so my labor cost is very low. If you can do everything else your self you don’t have to worry about this added cost

A question for the guys who did a solid axle swap on their Nissan trucks.

How did you re-work the exhaust from the Y pipe? where it crosses under the tcase? Any pix?

Thorley headers are much easier to reroute.

I'll be using the stock manifold, headers are not in the budget

What I did first with stock exhaust I used flex pipe the same size and stock pipe. Just cout out the drivers side corner and replace with flex. Dan did to his D21 also.

Let me see if I have pix of that old setup.

Flex pipe, that would work perfect...may not pass MVI tho? Yeah post a pix if you find one.

OK I found one. This is the pacesetters again.




I am real curious how you do the upper link. I want to try and move mine. I get some wheel hop on steep up hills.

Cool, i'm gonna look around for some of that flex pipe.

When we do the upper link we will have the rear bracket long with drilled holes so we can adjust it, this way we'll be able to fine tune it.

Check the xxxOffroad site on Monday, i think burkee (Paul) was working on the upper link last night....it was my wedding anniversary so i had to skip out on him
