What do you think it is going to weigh and what kind of springs are you using? I wanted badly to have mine ready, but had to focus on other things.

More pictures when it's done. This is just a teaser.

I'm guessing it will weigh about 850lbs empty. Springs are 1250lb trailer springs (2500lb total capacity). The springs are actually shorter than the tire diameter lol

You kind of surpased your inspiration with much more usable interior volume.

No tent. I thought about that and looked into it, however with the tent you can't get into the trailer with it up, also those rooftop tents are spendy ($1000+ for the cheapest I found). I came up with a different solution for a quick tent.

The goal is to be able to pull into camp and have everything set up in 15 minutes (table, pop up canopy, 2 tents, 3 beds, grill, stove, sink, outhouse). It should take about the same amount of time to pack up.

This is why I got the camper shell. I can have everything set up in about 20 minutes and put everything away in the same amount of time. Plus it beats setting up a tent.

I'm not sure what you're asking exactly. I'll try to answer. I wheel with my family, 3 adults basically. On the AZ run it will be 4 days and 3 nights before we can stop for food, water, gas etc. so I need to take everything we need with us. The trailer will enable us to do that without loading the truck down to the point that I can't wheel it.

My answer for sleeping arrangements is the Kamp-Rite Tent Cot. They set up in about 1 minute and then you have your tent and your bed. Throw a sleeping bag in and you're done.
