More angry pictures. Here is the original framework. This work (along with the axle) was done on the first week.

Looks very nice! Do you plan on welding angle support out to the bar that overhangs your tire? Looks like it would be suseptible to cracking/failing from vibrations. Just my cheap two cents thats all.

The trailer is about 90% done already. I'm just posting pictures of the build trying to pace it so the trailer is done by the time I'm done posting the build pictures. The framework is not done in that picture, that's just as far as I got on the first weekend.

Here's a bonus picture of the completed framework.

Is that paint on the frame before the floor went in?

Is that a water tank up front?
What do you use to chop up your square tube? Chop Saw? Brand?

I really like the cooler placement, but would want to be able to open it without pulling it out...

Weld through primer.
Yes, 29 gallon.
Chop saw, harbor freight special.

I'm a bit worried about pulling the cooler in and out. We'll have to see how it works out, I may have to make a sliding tray. It will have to work as is for the AZ run though.

I will still have my "center console" cooler. That just gets refilled in the morning. We should only have to pull the big cooler out once we get to camp and put it away in the mornings.

Brent, just build a reinforced "tailgate" for the trailer that the cooler slides out onto for access. A couple of chains to support the sides like an old pickup tailgate and it'd be plenty strong to hold a cooler and allow access without actually having to pull the cooler off the trailer.

Like this?

I'm going to be skinning the inside too to make it slide better. But it's a 200 quart cooler so full it will weigh around 400lbs which means it will be hard to slide around even with the tailgate.
