I used to have a bunch of pics saved but it appears I lost them in my last HD crash.

I need some ideas for a front bumper. I have some free time, about 2 tons of scrap steel, a welder and plasma cutter. I need something to do.

Yeah...looking for more home-grown stuff, but the pic does give me a few ideas.

I have a huge stockpile of 2x2 square tubing, and some 2x4 rectangle tubing along with a huge assortment of channel and thicker plate...but not much thin stuff.

I'm pretty sure the main structure will be 2x2...maybe designed to be skinned with some 3/16" plate later.

Have this now,

Getting this built in April

The Calmini is one heavy SOB. The tube one will be allot lighter and puts the winch in a better spot.

I was at Shrockworks yesterday. The demand for one isn't great enough. He said he would need at least 50 committed people to make the process worthwhile.

he only sold like 8 sets of sliders for hardbodies/pathfinders.
