Basically I am running into a lot of problems using Coils with my axle swap in my Pathfinder. I am contemplating going with coil-overs nothing too crazy, sticking with a 10 or 12 inch travel, remote reservoir is a plus but not needed. Basically what i need to know is about the coils and spring rates. I know the Calmini Kit for X's uses the Fox 2.0s with a 8 inch (300lb) coil on top and a 12 inch (300lb) coil on the bottom, but i am not sure if I fully understand why. Can anyone point me to some good resources or even lay it out for me on choosing the right coils and shock for my application?!?

(its a 95 pathfinder, using a full width D44 and radius arms...)

Thanks in advance,
-Sam

Yup, I was gonna post those two links.

If you want to really get into the nitty gritty of choosing spring rates and tuning for ride frequencies and other stuff (which you probably don't, its a truck it should ride like crap) Race Car Vehicle Dynamics and Fundamentals of Vehicle Dynamics are good books.
