oh, Mark Robinson. I build his doors too but used a different latch. AFAIK he is in the middle of his SAS.


I know its a jeep thing..... thats why I drive a nissan.

I know you mentioned that you got the "new" latches from a friend... how about the old ones? I wanna do a set of doors, and am stuck on finding a latch that I like.

The old ones I used were just misc hardware from the hardware store, a couple bolts and a couple springs.

Thanks Kev,

I looked into the paddle latches too, even some with locks. You can use the soft jeep door latches but man they are expensive, at 60-80 dollars a piece its hard to make a set of tube doors affordable.


I know its a jeep thing..... thats why I drive a nissan.
