I will be bringing a passenger. An Aussie I have met online. I hope that is alright, he is pretty excited about coming on the run.

As far as the CB...ya a convertor from the mog will work. I will be in AZ with enough time to get it in my truck. And if all else fails I will be using a handheld.

Thinking about coming, if I could just find a tow bar or trailer, Colorado is kind of far in the '68.
On a serious note would it be alright for a '68 with open diffs and 32's to show? I love the "Rim". Work can wait! I would love to set up shop at my friends cabin in Payson for a couple of days!

Looks like the Texans have a home.

Res?
Chuck?
Robin?
Any other out of staters?

John, can Ian park a tow rig at your place?
I've got room to put up 2-3 people but not much in the way of parking. I did offer a place for Ian and the Aussie.

I can't park a tow rig but I have a big enough yard and parking for one or two. I'm out Sunday night pre-camping at or near the first campsite though.

I have room for 3-4 tow rigs + trailers in the front driveways. I know Robin is parking his here. At minimum, I'll have room for 2 more rigs if needed, as long as truck plus trailer is no longer than about 60ft. If its longer, we'll figure something out, as I have some side parking as well.

What day/time will Ian be rolling in?

Head on down! Your truck will have no problem. The trails we are running have options for everyone.

I have enough room for 5-10 tow rigs and trailers in my back yard lol . But seriously if someone needs a spot I've got plenty of room.

Hoping Ian will chime in soon with his plans. I'd also like to go out and camp the night before, but I'm not sure on that yet.

I'm down for that as long as I can get the trailer fixed.

Bad news--I'm out. Frown I was only going to be able to make Payette anyway, but we had a schedule shuffle and my day off is the Sat following the run. Bummer! Payette would be fun in the wet.

*chime*

I'm back...

saw my truck tonight on the way home from Oz. Wow is it ever awesome! I nearly creamed my pants! 106" wheelbase from 93" before the new suspension, front diff pushed 3" forward, rear 10" back! 3-linked front done, 4 linked rear done, Fox shocks on hoops done, fresh 5spd and x-fer, f&r ARB lockers and a bunch of other shiat! Couple small issue but the truck should be ready for the run come Friday. If the truck is good to go by Friday morning I am driving down then. The truck decides when I leave.

Bringing myself, an Aussie, my dog and gear. Plus full size Chevy and hauling trailer. Need a place to park the Chevy + trailer. Should be in AZ by Saturday night, that is what I am shooting for. I am in on the pre-camping (Sunday night) as long as I make it to AZ by then. Me & the crew are good sleeping under the stars any night while in AZ, ie don't need a roof or couch just a place to lay down and crash out.

Going to be hardly any pre-testing on my truck so really hoping everything will work out. Right now rear brake lines are a prob and a seriously bad leaky main seal. Otherwise I am pretty much trail ready and itching hard to drive my *new* Patrol!

I will call ya Andy in the next 48hrs., got few questions.

PS I have a 24v-12v conv. installed and will just need to bum a UHF.

Cool deal. Looks like we can park your outfit at John's, and you're welcome to stay Sat night at my house (about 15 minutes away). Maybe drop the trailer and P-troll, and come over in the tow rig.
