I SWEAR I'm not giving you crap, but have you decided what you're driving this time around? I only ask because I remember a melt-down post after the last run, and you swearing you wouldn't drive your Jeessan on another trail. I haven't caught any news after that.

It is ok spike. I did flip out and now I am Better. The whole thing happened because when I was turning around just out side of Payson I lost a bolt on my stearing. I was going like 5 mile a hour when it happened , but could have been worse off. So I fliped. I said I would sell my jeep and so on. I got some good advise to sit on it and wait. I have now look at My Bastard of a jeep and fix everyting that can go wrong. I will be on this next run, I will not be on Payett Draw. I will drive to the end and sit or stay at camp.

Tcase gears
ext cb speaker.
maybe roll cage/Exo
Help sandbag fix what he is crying about that week Bawl

Get a new trucker radio mounted where the passenger airbag currently resides. Maybe a winch, but probably not. Otherwise, just some normal maintenance and hope the Meany doesn't fall apart after another year.

If I go I have to have a trailer to get Amber, Justin and I around with all of our gear. So I guess building a trailer on 35's is on my list.

I was just looking at FOUR WHEELER yesterday. They had a big truck on the cover with a matching trailer. They had a whole article on trailers.

I definately plan to be there. Bringing my boys, too. We will have to pack carefully to bring just what we need and no excess.

I have been making clearance and reliability mods. Still a lot to do. No immediate plans for gears or lockers. I will stick with the LSD rear for now. I will just have to make up for it with my driving. Razz

I cant commit to anything now.....Being located in Florida a drive to AZ requires a lot of time off of work.

(If) I'm in the states and not on deployment like AZ7 I'm going to try to make the drive.

I don’t have any plans for AZ8. I will however be doing a timing job, new cams, performance computer. Just ordered a one piece drive shaft from ABC.

I doubt it, since AZ Runs are usually the week before dead week for me. However, this is my last year of school (at least until I decide to start the Masters program), so if I can swing the solid axle before then, I may be in. Who knows, maybe I'll just fly down and ride with Dan or somebody, I'd love to make it happen either way.

Keep in mind guys that this year we are running and camping.

Mechanical issues should be addressed well before the run.

Meh.

No mog shaped tent this year, but Niki and I will be there in my Pathy. Big Grin

Just need to do normal maintenance on it and replace the bent tie-rod before this year.

I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but I might do a little more work on the rear suspension to limit travel by holding the springs captive (since the front is articulating well now).

If I can go that long without quitting my job I'll be there. But even so I will make a couple days.

Gotta do some work on the front end (centerlink, ball joints, tie rods, bla, bla, bla). I wish that entailed a SAS but don't think thats in the budget right now.

Believe me when I say that it is not that I don't want to go. Maybe in Febuary between you, DR, DL and a few beers, I'll be convinced to attend.

Gator, I know it is a good bit farther for you than it is for me, but I think you are due. I wouldn't even mind losing the "Long Distance Award" glory to you. That is unless The Drip drives farther. It would be epic if you both made it. Cool
