Last Week: I installed new re-gate hinges to fix a gate misalignment I have had since AZ4.

Saturday: pulled the third, refreshed carrier bearing pre-load and installed new ARB 0-rings

Sunday: Rebuilt front hubs, bearings, etc. Put on new cross-drilled rotors for that needed bling, new pads, new balljoints, re-tapped hub bolt holes and cleaned up the hubs.

The truck will be in the shop tomorrow afternoon for a couple weeks, and I found a new CB and antenna.

Got the new CB mounted, got the Wilson 1000 mounted on the roof, and installed the Centramatic Wheel Balancers.

Still to go, install 5.14's and ARB in H233b axle, then swap it under my truck. Re-install the 5.13's in the Dana 44, and either upgrade or get spares shafts for the 44. If not done by Az Run, then hopefully by GoneMOAB.

I got my time approved. Now I am trying to get 3 more new rims and three more new tires so I have new shoes all around. Summitt is out of my rims. The note says "tentative ship date..."
If the tentative date is 2/23/08, what are my chances of that being close?

the 4x4 conversion is on for next weekend, then rear flares so the tires don't tear up the fenders when flexed out. we did a SOA setup with the stock junk for now, but it will be coil sprung by the az run.

4wd conversion is done. all we need to do is notch the crossmembers and get some driveshafts made. we are planning to redo the rear suspension, but if its not done in time the SOA will be fine.

I'm starting to get freaked out when I see how few days there are left 'till the run... I'm looking forward to it - but there is a bunch of stuff I still need to do and it's not done yet (waiting on parts)!!!

I did get some new street tires put on yesterday, though... anyone need some pizza cut up?

x2 on the freaking out part. I currently have mismatched axles, awaiting the front to be swapped.

lol Those look awesome

I still need to finish my roll bar, reinstal tank/water mounts, and get that front locker squared away.

I really wanted crawler gears b4 the run, but again, that didn't happen...

I need to get my truck out of the shop, paint the cage, install my new CB (mandatory now that my old antenna doesn't fit anymore due to the cage), reset the toe on the front end, bleed the front brakes again, and change oil.

I just bled my brakes again last weekend. Nice tight pedal but they are soft again.

Bad master cylinder I think. Gonna try to address that before the run.

I can't get my alignment right either. No matter what I do it pulls slightly to the right. I called Shumans today and they think it is a tire.

I am going to cross rotate them this weekend and see if that does it.
