I'll probably bleed my clutch once more. This weekend I need to repack the front wheel bearings and change a few other fluids.

I need to get my CB gremlins squared away, an oil change, and other small misc BS

Greg, is your roll bar a functional roll bar or just a light bar? I want one of those real bad, but havent had time to do anything about it or find a good fab shop.

As of right now, it is a glorified light/spare tire mount. But, it is plated above and below the bed, ready to add the mounts to the frame.

My Alcans showed up today and I slapped 'em on.... and during my test drive my SES LIGHT CAME ON Bawl (P1148 - looks like an O2 sensor)

AAR, the springs are nice - but I wish I'd asked for another inch of height.

Did wheel bearings tonight.. found that one inner bearing was rusted up and nearly seized! All the other bearings looked fine though. Repacked and put new seals in anyway. Also got a deal on bearings ($6 each from checker), so I now have enough spares with seals to rebuild the whole frontend again if needed.

An alignment that only adjusts toe cannot make your truck pull to the right (or left). Shuman is probably right and it's a tire that is worn funny. You also may want to check your ball joints, tie rod ends and wheel bearings.

My to do list is:
-finish the trailer
-test the trailer
-fix a few minor issues with the beast.

I have a couple other things I wish I had time to do, but it's not going to happen before the run.

I was thinking that ball joints are about the only thing that could make it pull other than tire or brake issues.

Was this enough for your sas'd fronty? Do you think you should have ordered more lift?

Pulled my rear brakes apart and found the parking brake assemblies completely packed with sand! Got that all cleaned up. Parking brake works a lot better now.

Working on some interior details now. Fitting my center console back in after cutting it down so I can have a spot for switches, etc.

With about a hundred pounds in the bed the truck sits just a tick over level (in the / forward rake, stock looking appearance). The springs have not settled yet, so im guessing when they are settled and im loaded they will be just a hair under level in the other direction.

If I had to do it over again, I would probably have gotten one more inch, but im very happy with what I got though.

Final charge from Alcan was $556 with shipping. I think it varies a bit based on how much lift you get etc.

Getting a little panicky too. My truck still isn't out of the shop. Hopefully Tuesday, but I have business travel next week. Everything I need to get done needs to get done next weekend.

Crap.

Hey, my parking brake works now! The quicksand has been removed from my parking brakes...

And rusty wheel bearings have been replaced:

I'm almost ready...

My list is getting shorter:

1. Reinstall center console
2. Wire up new auxiliary overhead lights
3. Install front and rear tow hooks
4. Fix broken rear bumper.
5. Find another York compressor and fix my onboard air system.

Well after finding a fab shop i think im going to drop my truck off for a functional roll bar (Thanks Greg) so my truck wont be available next weekend.

1. Torque and safety check all bolts on the SAS
2. Pack the Truck
3. Run the Plumbing for the front locker
4. Install the Diff Armor
5. Relocate the Bed batteries if a Roll bar
is in my future.
