wal-mart has them for around $40. The normal ones for about 32 are like $25.

Got my center console installed and mounted my XM tuner in front of it. Turned out real nice. Now just need to get working on the lights. Need to pull all the stupid crimp connections off and solder all the connections. Then the tow points and bumper will be next.

If anyone needs any lights for their truck, Harbor Freight has driving lights on sale for $8 a pair:

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=37349

These are what I'm going to be replacing my rooftop lights with. Nice diffused beam. I'm going with 4 across the front and 2 on each side up front, and 2 in the back for reverse lights.

oh yeah.. I need to pick up a can of camp dry before the trip.

Hey - can anyone recommend some good cheap stock-replacement speakers for the front (6.5" rounds I believe)? Mine are trash.

I put them on my kids' go cart years ago. They hold up well. I need a pair under my bed for reverse lights. Smile

Go to Wally World and pick up one of those cheap $12 speaker boxes that have two 6" rounds and two round, horn tweaters. Use the speakers and throw the rest away.

I hope you weren't thinking of that as a substitute for seam sealer? For broad areas of cloth it'll work as a water repellent, but not for neeedle holes in seams. And that stuff stinks to high heaven! A fume respirator is advised- even outside.

YOu can make your own sealer.

My panic has subsided now that I have successfully replaced both axles. I now have lower gears (4.6), LSDs in both and disc brakes on both ends. I threw in a U-bolt flip for good measure.Wink
My new rims finally came in, but I spent my tire money on axles. Frown I still have almost two weeks. I can sell a lot of blood and sperm in that much time. Big Grin

Today and yesterday have been pretty busy for me. I've been trying to make up a lot of lost time. So far, I think I have all the camping gear and supplies I'll need for the entire run, minus food and a couple other things. Last night I pulled out my MAF and cleaned it real good, replaced the air filter and fuel filter. I still need to do a few small things to the truck, but I feel that it's ready.

I have those two 15x10" chrome steel wheels I was giving away still. 4" backspacing, you can have one if you want.

We can get it mounted up pretty easily ourselves. You shouldn't need to take it to the shop unless you want to balance it (or we could throw some airsoft bb's in there lol).
