New cap and roter, new rear brake pads (I like the sound of that) and a bunch of other maintenance. The truck is ready.
Time to start packing the gear and buying some food items.

Is next Monday the 3rd or the 10th? I'm booked the week of the 10th but other than that I'm open.

I grabbed two cheap 4" speakers and threw them into a piece of plywood then put them below my center console for remote cb/ham speakers. The unpainted plywood doesn't look great but it is neat and the speakers function as intended.

Other than that:

Very cool....

I am playing phone tag right now, trying to find inner axle seals for my front axle. The passanger one is pretty much non-existant, and will piss gear oil out of the tube when off camber.

An easy fix would be to just pick lines that allow the driver's tire to drop, not dropping the passanger, lol

Also, trying to find the time to tear apart the front axle to replace said seal, and fix my lockrite. Complain

I've got lots of room now Smile. The axle on my trailer should be fixed in the next couple days.

Wednesday night is Fajita night everyone. We're bringing meat, tortillas, salsa, chips, etc. for everyone. We will need some help (stoves, cooking surfaces etc.) cooking, but we should have the food covered.

I have a two burner coleman stove I'm not bringing that you're welcome to but you would have to haul it because I'm all out of room. I will make the flat griddle for my grill fit somehow and bring that either way.

I am definitly bringing my portable outhouse, but am unsure about the Shower. The shower has alot of frame to it and takes a good bit of room. It is a kick-ass shower, though.

really pushing it on my truck to make the run.

got issues with funky weird aussie sized rear brake lines. Hope that is fixed tomorrow with custom made up lines. Rear mainseal is pissing and having to be done a 2nd time, tomorrow. Rear locker pissed oil out the breather when first ran but seems to have sealed it's self up so hoping it is good. Got to get the Fox bump stops in and then suspension is done deal. PTO winch may be running or may not, need to make new bracket for the cable which may not get done. Beadlocks won't be done but I have rock rings, rofl! Truck hasn't been tested on road as of today or flexed up in the filed. It looks good so hopefully no drams, dramas could hold it up.

Good news is suspension is beyond sick! Wheelbase has been stretched to 106" it all rides on 12" Fox shocks. 3-linked front with the rear a triangulated 4-link. 2 feet of the rear chassis was cut out of my truck and a small cage/trudgy built in the bed. This is for rear shock hoops, fuel cell, batteries, and frame work for rear shelf. The body remains though with custom mounts on the bar work. Links in suspension built from 2" thick wall tube, stoked about that. No idea how the turning radius will work out but steering is done, both diffs rebuilt and same for 5spd gearbox/x-fer. ARB compressor is in and so is a 24-12v convertor. Prop shafts all done and new clutch is good to go. New 3" exhaust. New bar work. New fuel tank.

Brake lines and brake tuning plus rear main seal all that is really holding me up atm. Although I will be doing the run with a lot of holes in the rear tub, lol!

Wow, I hope you get all of that sorted out, it would be awesome to see that Patrol on the run. Don't worry too much about the winch, I don't think you'll be needing it (unless you run Filter on Payett Draw).

Yeah, wow.

You're still road legal, right? There's no place for tow rigs on the run. Smile
