That what boy scouts was for. Also I learned how to clean house at poker. I remember going on a camping trip with $20 and coming home with alot more. never trust a 14 year old kid when he says he doesn't know how to play. Big Grin Also learned how to say "The tree just fell over" or "dam that fire can roast a cow". There was always the cloud comming from the SPL tent torch (remember don't inhale)

The truck is all clean again. Covered the burned area inside the bed with a thick coat of primer. Sure was a PITA to clean the ceiling of the camper shell. Had to use some commercial strength concrete cleaner to get all the black stuff off of it. Fun times...

Find Mesa and Payson, AZ on a map. there's a bunch of trails in between that we're doing and one just north of Payson.

On the way to AZ Run VII, I was explaining where I was headed to someone at a rest area. He asked "Where abouts in Arizona does this take place?". I replied "Who cares? I'm on vacation!" banana

The map on the back of last year's T-shirt is at the bottom of the page at http://swanky.camstreams.com/

We'll mostly be close to what that shows for AZ VII too.

You could make three complete round trips and still not match my milage. You're practically in the neighborhood, for Pete's sake. smiley36

Its all good Big Grin the wheelin’, scenery, people, camping, eating, etc. I’ve been to a lot of events, runs, etc and this is one of the best around.

Drive from CA is pretty easy , you can make it in ~ 7 hrs, well worth it just make sure you stay for most or all of the week to get the most out of it.

As far as mods; If I have time this winter hope to have my rear triangulated reverse link system done on my X Smokin if not guess I'll have to slum it with the leafs lol

Yes. Smile

Around my neck of the woods, most of the folks that come out to camp and wheel with me think I am a bit extreme. I own a motorhome, yet I prefer to throw a tent in the back of the truck and head deep into the wilderness.
Around here I am a nut. On the AZ run, I feel like I fit right in.

REVEREND!!

Nice John,

I have dropped the front diff, got the truck running again, changed the oil, cut off one of the sliders (plasma cutters rule), and tore off all the IFS stuff.

Kit will be ordered this week, and all the axle rebuild parts are here or in transit.

Doing outer CV boots tomorrow evening.
Need tires early next year along with three more new rims.
All fluids due for change around that time. All new Redline throughout.
French the jack and shovel into the inner bedsides.
Raise the rear tire carrier and fuel tank.
Possibly mount a fresh water tank under the bed.
Install the linear amp if I can find it in the garage.
