Black92SE, you are probably right about Gulches being too wet right now. Several folks on NOAS have asked about a run to Gulches, I'll try to get things lined up for me and get in touch with you in a few weeks so we can go wheeling.

Well, I tore my rig up there last weekend and it will be a few week-ends until I get it fixed unless you want to go down this week-end and I will just go easy on it. I dont know how much its dried up though, at our worksites it hasnt dried up at all because the ground is frozen too much.

I have 2 side projects going right now and a safety seminar in Columbia to attend on the 26th. I can go on one day on the weekend of the 12th or 19th if your rig's up. The weekend of 2/22 is out also, I am planning to be at Harlan then. Let me know what ya think.

If you go right down 25 its only about 35 minutes from the home depot on the corner of mauldin road and 25. For some reason mapquest sends you down 385 and it take about an hour that way.

just wanted to let you know that your not alone in sc,there are a couple of us nissan guys here.Like Bach said,stay away from gulches right now because its a mess in the winter time due to all the rain but if you want to ride with us to check it out let me know.I'm doing a tranny swap from auto to man. but should be done this weekend.Also most of the gulches gang are heading to river rock at the end of feb.

If your still wanting to go, Im gonna be at the first comp which is the first week-end in march, camping out the friday night before and competeing saturday if you want to ride either of those times.

Yeah, I met Auston. It turns out my wife used to work with his mom (small world). I went to Harlan with NOAS in Feb, had a great time! I've yanked the Maxxis tires off for now and am back to street tires until I can get the sliders welded up and on. They're held up by another side project, I need to finish it before I make much progress on the truck and can only work it on weekends now. I'll drop you a line when I get things together.
