i'm new to the site and i just picked up my aunt's 94 hardbody for free. i got a new top for the fuel pump which took care of the running end of things, then it was time for the fun stuff.

First i cranked the torsions up for a 2 inch lift, about as far as i could go without re-indexing the bars. for the back i picked up a shackle lift kit for 20 bucks. the highest adjustment gave me about 3 inches of lift but i dropped it down a bit to even it out with the front. the lift made a world of difference, it looks so much better and should help with some tire clearance.

Next is a 2 inch body lift which i'm getting the materials for this week possibly. that will probably be it until i can get some upper arms to lift the front more but i'm super happy so far. looks sweet when you can see the lower arms sticking out looking from the front Cool

sorry for the long intro!

i called a few junk yards and one said they send all their fuel pumps to their radiator shop, so i called a couple radiator shops and one said they could redo it, so i headed over. 2 hours and $150 later i had a brand new top, gasket, bolts, and wiring. it went in perfect and was worth every penny. one thing i do recommend is painting the top if it isn't already done, mine came bare metal and the next day it had some surface rust already. needless to say the paint was quick to go on.

they said they could get me one for $250 complete if they couldn't fix this one, compared to the $750 the parts place wanted. so i'd give a few radiator shops a call.
