will your dream could come true very easily. Buy the car and the SR20DET and a place in Atlanta GA called Unstable Hybrids will install it and wire it for 3000. So buy a early 90 model fastback for 4000 buy the engine for less than 1000 and pay for installation and you have a 210HP car for 8000 or less. The SR20DET is capable of power in excess of 400HP. smiley13

Have to agree with Path828
Skylines are sweet. But i can't understand why you like 240sx's so much. I like the 240z cars better. well, and the whole line. I would love a ride in a 350z, let alone own one. Cool

I like the old ones too, but I don't wan to worry with a vehicle with so many miles. Next thing I drive needs to have 70K miles max...

I got my truck at 128K so I've had alot of maintinance to deal with. I probably coulda found one with not so many miles...

I drive a 95 240SX with upgraded KYB GR2 suspension everyday as my commuter. It's a quick, precise car that handles better than just about everything else on the road. Would I like more HP? sure--but for my purposes, the stock 150 HP is adequate. Now when I want to go fast, I have an 83 Turbo 280ZX that's running about 400HP at 18 lbs of boost. The suspension and wheels and rubber are also built up to take it. Very, very scary car. Ask Datz510 about it--he's one of the few people who have a lot of seat time in it.

That's nuts. 400hp! Man oh man Big Grin

I've got a good friend who has a 1990 240. I drove it once down the driveway then I asked her if it was for sale hehe

I like the front end of the 97-98 better though. A Silvia front end would be even better.

95 is the same body style as the 97-98--just not quite so rare.

The lights and hood are different. I gues I could always find lights and hood off a wrecked one, but it would just be a hassle...

I had a 1990 240SX that I loved. I really miss her. I traded it in in 1998 for a 95 Pathfinder. Two kids and 2 big dogs!

Even today the 13 year old 240SX stills looks hot!
