The system was set up for purely spl. But, I am pleasantly surprised at how well it sounds at daily driving levels.
That Alpine is about six years old. It's the only thing that has never given me one ounce of problems.
The fiberglass was such a pain, but not as hard as I thought it would be. If I can do it, anyone can. The best thing to use to mold fiberglass is chicken wire, and I'm not kidding.

So what can you hit with it. Any odd rattles on it? I once had a bug that could do 140-150 depending on temps. I've ran apline before, about 15yrs ago and it didn't impress me. I've been a Pioneer guy since then. I listen to the tuner more than CDs so the tuner is real important to me. Of course my 740MP that I run in the daily driver is nice. Sweet setup tho. Wish I had the cash do that again.

Sorry for the delay, I've been in Mexico. I do about 150 legal on the dash and 165 in the port. I do not have any rattling problems, but I did crack my windshield a few weeks ago. It did not cost that much, I did all the work myself and Kicker helped me out with the equipment.

Not bad at all. I'll even spare you the for a girl comments.

So you hit 150 at the glass? What mic was that on? Have you tried with the new termpro map setup?
You ever get coverage on any websites? I may be able to get you some spotlight time if you can supply better (ie bigger and clearer) pics.
Lastly, what do you compete in? Locals, USACi, DB Drags, etc?

Just an update to show of her ride (and shamelessly plug where I work). For some reason this truck just impressed me and I wanted to get her some airtime. Anyone else using our gear should click here and add your ride.

SteveO you work for kicker? My bro-inlaw has a shop that does boats, sells mostly kicker stuff. Have you seen any pictures of a purple, lifted golfcart with a 700.5 for a front bumper, 4 6x9s, 2 6.5s, comp 12, dvd, etc?
