just looking for opinions for the best wearing street tires in a 265/70/15 i have been using the factory bfg long trail wich were ok until they wore down and now have very little traction even on the street. (i hardly ever get to get offroad) i have been looking to possibly try out michelin cross terrain's but wanted some other options. let me know what you think

... My factory BFG long trails were very good on and off road. But the rubber got hard and lost traction at about four years old. I now have BFG 31x10.50x15 OKs.

have a good one Chug and CUL.. Don S..

after looking around the only tires that look like they get decent milage on the pavement are the dunlop rover, michelin cross terrain and the bfg long trail or rugged trail, i think i'll just be sticking to the bfg's

... I forgot to say that the Factory BFG Long Trails had 32,000 miles on them and lots of tread on them when I took them off. They did over 50 Colorado Mountain pass trails including Black Bear. I thought they were pretty quiet tires on the highway. The new OKs are not bad on noise.

the long trails on mine have about 32k on them but are almost to the wear markers, they were decent off road until they wore down about half way.
