I just wanted to know if any of you guys swaped an auto rear axle to your manuals. I'm looking for a lower ring and pinion. The autos have a different axle than the manuals. I have the h190 3.7 and I don't know what axle the autos have. These are for the 2wd 4 cylinder models. I measured and it looks like it will fit. I just dont know if the speed sensor or the brakes will be the same. The auto also has a rear cover.

The 2wd hardbodies got h190's or C200. The auto should have the better ring and gear ratios. The manuals have lower gears and the auto's came with higher gears.

Yes done it 20 twenty times. there is no such thing as an auto or manual axle. There all the same. H190, H233, C200 etc.

Some have different spline counts and widths and gear ratios.

For example I used 70s 4.6(auto) and 4.3(stick) gear sets in my 85 720s. All used the same H190.

my 4.65 came out of a 94 sev6 auto. Went from 4.3 to 4.65, don’t regret upgrading at all. Since you have to drop the 3rd set up gears and stuff. throw in a locker.
