depending on how badly its jumped, it could be as simple as swapping out the timing belt or if the timing belt has actually broken, it will probably need both heads pulled and all valves replaced. These engines are interference engines, so if the timing belt goes, it means the valves hit the pistons. Typicaly, the pistons will be fine, but the valves are bent and must be replaced.

If it is dirt cheap, pick it up, put in a timing belt and see if it runs. If it wont run, pull the heads and have the valves gone through. That'll cost around $700-800 for all the machine work and all new gaskets for the top end if you do the R&R yourself.

Once done, you'll have a nice truck that'll run for another 100k+ miles.

Does it run? Thanatoz is fighting with an issue where the crank pully/timing gear is sloppy on the shaft. It runs but lacks power, sometimes more than others. Sometimes it barely runs.
