Would it help to buy splitfire plugs? Do they improve hp and or milage? What else can me done? Thanks.

I don't think splitfire plugs will do much. Most people say NGK plugs are all you need. link Thats another post from CHIAx about an intake he put in. You might want to keep watch on that topic to see what kind of gains he gets. Another good mod is MSD ignition. This will give you mpg and hp, but there are several types of msd ignitions so you might wanna look around to see whats best for you. As far as exhaust goes, you have to know what you want. Depending on what size pipe you use you could get more hp in the high rpms, but loose torque in your low end. I have just a regular flowmaster 40 series muffler on my pathfinder but its been so long since I got it I can't remember if I got any hp gains or not. www.4x4parts.com offers intake, exhaust, headers, cam, and a few other goodies. The cam is a good way for hp, but is expensive to install if you don't do it yourself. The hp gains can be real good if you get the right cam, but you will most likely need new lifters and valves with this. I have heard good and bad things about headers, but nothing definete. Many people have had problems with having an automatic tranny, and problems with the headers fitting. I can't think of anything else right now, and fill free to correct me if i'm wrong on any of these products.
