Took me about an hour to do it. Noticable improvement in power all ready. Got to take it to the performance shop though as it hesitates when i gun it from a stop. Maybe somehitng not connected all the way. Pics to come.

Post more about what it is, what it does, etc. I'm curious. Is it just a filter/intake assembly?

I think it is probably the FIPK from K&N he is talking about. Better be careful with that at the Slabs Scott.

It is a filter and intake tube and heat sheild assembly. Very simple to do. I am running my full first tank of gas on it and alreayd noticed an increase in mileage. Also i am not having to rev up to 4000 rpm's to get up steep grade hills anymore. Next week I should have an MSD and magnacore wires on it.
And I figured out what the hesitation was. Apperently i didnt have one of the clamps tight enough so it was sucking to much air in. Scott "Chia" Holland God Forgives, Rocks Don't Texas is the original South west. |
