When I went to an R200 in front, I had to use the SLR diff drop kit - dunno if that'll work on a D21., but the drop was needed to clear the oil pan. I still did some grinding on the pumpkin for a little extra clearance. Once I could get a dollar bill between them, it was good.

I've still got my ARB equiped R200 with the SLR lowering bushings installed that came out of my 91' D21. Too bad we live so far apart.

Thanks for the links and input, guys. I must have missed Lance's parts for sale. He is kind of far away. Besides, I would rather have something out of a D21 if I were going to swap axles.
I am currently running 4.375:1 gears. If I could get a complete front axle with LSD and lower gears for a reasonable (read cheap) price, maybe I could justify regearing the C-200 again and going lower.

Cost is a big factor, unfortunately. I still need to raise the funds to make it to AZ next spring. I will also need tires by then.

Gotta' keep my priorities straight. Big Grin

Would I need different CV axles with a 200? I currently have a 180 powered by a Z24.

I wanted that axle from you when you were trying to sell it earlier this year.

I responded to your PM back in April but didn't hear from you again.

Some Subarus have R180 LSD axles in them. Don't know which ones for sure, you'd have to do some research.

The old datsun 240-260Z came with r180 nismo LSD option. It's extremely hard to find R180lsd's. The cheapest r180lsd's are the ones calmini sells. They also have the cheapest r200lsd's also. I believe calmini’s LSD’s are Nissan manufactured.

Hello,

Im French and I new on this Forum. Smile
I have a Terrano II 3L with R180A front axle. The Terrano is equivalent with the earlier Pathfinder. Wink

I'm also looking for an LSD for my front axle. It is possible to find one by QUAIFE. Is not the same technologie ase CALAMINI. This one should never lok complitely.

How many splines have you on your differential outputs ? There are two models: One with 25 splines and other with 27 splines.

Sorry for my englisch.

Bye

I do not know how many splines. I suppose that would be important.
I know that it is an early model that uses 10mm bolts instead of the later 12mm bolts. Regearing is not out of the question, though.

Pardon my french. Big Grin smiley49 to N4W.

Hello,

On the TERRANO II of the years 2003 and later, the bolts are 10mm and there are 8 bolts on it, so it's kind the same. But the difference is on the spline number. On the Terrano II we have got 27 splines and perhaps on earlier models there are 25 splines that should be verified. If you have 25 splines, you can be sure to find an LSD by QUAIFE. But for 27 splines I didnt find anything Frown Bawl

Bye
