Some of the ads I see for ARB's H233B locker say it fits all drum equipped 31 spline models only. Are they compatible with disk brake axles/3rd members?

I looked at ARB website and see nothing about only disk or drum just what axle carrier they replace. Also there was this note "Floating thrust block(s) are included but should ONLY be installed on semi-floating axle assemblies. Refer to installatioon guide".

If you have a 31 spline it should work, but wait til someone has done this answers.

as fare as the half shafts goes. both disc and drum have 31 spline half shafts.

I believe the Floating thrust block is for the disc axle.

My drum h233 has the floating block. But I now have discs. I left it in when I installed the lock right.

Need mods to make them work with discs; PM Datz I recall he had to mod or cut something to retain the shafts in places with the discs

We had to pull his axle shafts on AZRun IV, and grind about 1/8" off the ends of each axle so they wouldn't cause binding.

There is a note in the ARB instructions that call for the axle shafts to be shortened if they are to long after the locker install. I've only heard of this problem with disc brakes.

Any idea if a thrust block would be required if installing Pathy disk brakes/shafts on a drum axle that already has an ARB locker?

On disc brake axles, you must pull the axle shafts and grind about 1/8" off the end of each one. Thats all you have to do.

Yep.. had to tear mine apart the first day of AZRun IV out on the trail to do the grinding. Its been fine ever since.
