My 87 4wd hardbody was vibrating on take off. I changed the left motor mount which was bad now the vibration is very minimal starting out in first but still very noticable in reverse.
Any ideas?

Is it a standard cab or King Cab?
If it is the KC, have you recently replaced the center support bearing on the driveshaft?

It's a fine line between clever and stupid.

Its really hard to find stock on parts for these trucks where i live i bought the one mount cuz it was the one i knew was broke and the only one in the area.

It is a king cab, and no i havn't done the carrier bearing yet. It doesn't appear to be split or broken. How much movement should there be in it by hand?
What can i get a one piece shaft from that is a bolt in if anything?

Check your rear springs. mine are bent, and my truck vibrates really bad in 1st gear. I am going to replace the driver side motor mount, trans mount, and stiffen the rear springs this weekend.

I was actually just under it and saw that the middle leaf in each pack are definately bent and there is no arc to the springs.
Im thinking of trying the 2wd spring swap.
