Hi,

I need to get a new engine and trans for my truck. I was thinking that if the 2wd transmission is not too long I could swap it in instead and then go with a divorce and doubled np 203 205. Does any body know how long the the 2wd automatic transmission is for v6 1988 pathfinder? Also does anyone know the gear ratios in the transmission?

-Thanks

The 2wd transmission should bolt right up. Several people have swapped from 2wd to 4wd. Only thing that might change would be the rear d/s. Since they made both 2wd and 4wd pathys should be a simple swap.

I mean simple by not a ton of custom modifications.

You may need to alter the tranny crossmember slightly.

It's a fine line between clever and stupid.
