oh you mean like the one sitting in my garage?
Looks like the install is slightly easier on a auto than on a manual. thanks for the pic. adapters are good in stock. just not shipping untill i get mine installed. |

for the auto you don't need to worry about having counter-sunk mounting holes on the adapter.
on the manual, besides having the outside edge sealed up along where the bolt holes are, there is a second ring on the inside that also seals to the t-case. in order for the the adapter to sit flush, the adapters bolts are counter sunk to avoid interference. but if the holes are counter-sunk on every adapter it won't make a difference to the installer. |

So how much? I'm assuming this adapter does not allow for use of the TX10 low range box, but I don't think I will need dual low rage until I decide on keeping the Nissan stuff or switch to a V8.

All those listed at that link are the same part just listed for the different vehicles. |

Will it work with a normal 300/ How about the Stak? What does an underdrive unit go for? Only $400 more for a dual case set up, I'll have to do some number crunching to see which is the best deal.

Also, will the driveshafts need to be lengthened or shortened?

Basically you should be able to bolt up any 31 spline 6-bolt case. but i havn 't had one in my hands so i can't say for sure. the front shaft will need to be a little longer. the rear will also need to be a little longer. I'll be running a rear C.V. Shaft. I'll post pics of it all when i get it installed. |

gator, I thought your going with the doubler? You'll be looking at like 3K with the atlas.

I would not mind the doubler, I know I want a 300 (or similar) for sure, but I'm not 100% sure I will keep the Nissan motor and trans. I will keep he case but if I swap the motor, I don't need to spend the extra $$ for the doubler when I would have to buy a gear reduction anyway. I'm just exploring my options.

If your going to swap the motor, drop in a v8 and tranny with a 6 bolt case. Then bolt up the at least. Save you the $500+ on a kit to be able to use the atlas.
