Yes. TX10 has a 30spline on V6 and 24spline on 4cyl models.

Yes. There both the same engine both VG. It has been done.

3.0 has a larger trans to engine bolt..than a 3.3 ..

I'm running a 3.3 with a 3.0 tranny. My 3.3 had a torque converter, so I can't say if it would be a direct auto-auto/manual-manual swap or not, but the 3.0 flywheels/flexplates bolt right on the 3.3 anyway, so it's irrelevant.

It's a relatively easy swap, the biggest trouble is dealing with the accessories.
