I am guessing that the ring gear from an R200 will bolt to the C200 LSD, but will that carrier fit the R200 housing?

I have a C200 LSD in my R200a. You will need to remove the nut insert from your R200a driver's side side gear and insert it into the C200, but otherwise yes it's a direct swap.

Mine (from a '94 pathy) didn't have an insert. The gear itself had the tapped hole. The gear was not interchangable with the LSD. Therefore, I had to drill and tap the slug that I had or make something. The slug has nothing to key it to the gear, so if it ever works loose, I may tack weld it in place. I don't THINK it will be a problem.
