I have a 1988 Nissan D21 4wd truck...and i have a problem with the clutch not disengaging...and sometimes it is hard to shift into the gear when it is stopped...i think it is low on tranny fluid and i was wondering if it is bad to tip up on 2 wheels and overfill the tranny with fluid?...any ideas welcome

Heck no, but don't call it fluid, call it
GL-4 lube ( only). no substitutions...

Please overfill it at least a quart, 1.5 extra better.

Personally, I spend a little extra time and remove the trim around the shifter, the shifter plate on top of the trans to fill it up. Less crawlin around and puumping.

MT-90 Redline 75-90( synthetic) makes for really slick shifting.
