Simply don't like it. There is much better synthetic oil than amsoil. I would take red line any day over amsoil.

As for motor oil, Take your pick at any of the top brand full synthetic oils. Mobil 1, valvoline, castrol, there all good. In my opinion the only oil worth purchasing is one thats made in the USA.

As for me I run valvoline max life. No need to waste my money on syenthic when good old dyno oil does the job. I know what works for me because I've seen the bottom half of my engine, everything looked clean. No sludge or build up.

I do the 20 - 25K mile change interval in the motor, w Amsoil , w/ no complaints. I'd go crazy doin it every 3 or so. Saves me money and time. Their GL-5 is in the diff.

I like REDlineMT-90 in the man trans, tho, it shifts easier when it's cold.

Do it if only to get the dealer prices- and make sure to tell them "for personal use" when you order by phone- that way you're taxed on the wholesale price( and not suggested retail).

Try Royal Purple, This stuff is great!! I increased my gas mileage from 17mpg to almost 21mpg..I check and rechecked my math because I did not in no way figure that just oil would increase my gas mileage by that much, but it did

Royal Purple is good stuff but I don't think it's as good as whats being put out.

If I was going to buy synthetic oil, I would go with one of the tried and proven brands.

4-5MPG gain from just changing oil.............

you mean like Amsoil...... they started the movement over 36 years ago.

I've run my Frontier on it -going 25000 mile interval oil changes- since 15 k miles- over 268K now ,but in the shop for timing chain replacement.
