I can understand that.

Lemmie call Richard, and see what tools he has available at his buddies house... where the truck is.

There must be a wood recycler place in town. Ought to be able to get sheets of plywood for less than 5 bucks each. It would get you out of the dirt.

They're $20.99 at Autozone, but agreed make sure it gets removed first!

I think I am gonna focus my attention on pulling the stuff on Saturday, then I can piece everything together, and do the actual install AFTER the AZ run. This way, there is much less stress to get everyones' rig done...

I am thinking about doing this cause I am gonna have to get a clutch as well as not having a vehicle unil the driveshaft gets fabbed.

You are welcome to use my shop/tools for the install this weekend. I have everything for the tranny/transfer R&R including a tranny jack. I have a 110 volt welder, but no plasma cutter. Let me know if this helps.

That is definately something to consider...

I think I will hold off until after the run tho to do the swap. I will have my Yota tcase by then too, so I can probably do it all at the same time... unless my tranny decided to fully die.

I am gonna add more fluid to it either tomorrow or Thursday, and just keep an eye on it.

I may not even be able to pull it on Saturday... depending on the weather. If it is raining and crappy outside, I don't want to be wrenching on the truck in the middle of that Frown

yeah, the tranny shifts fine. No prob there. It is only when in gear, and there is power applied... like during acceleration. When the clutch is depressed, there is no noise. I can rev the engine thru that power band, and there is no noise. The other thing is that there is no abnormal vibrations...even when the tranny is producing that sound.
