Hello members,
Does the nissan serena 2.0 excursion have a fuel cutoff switch?i have a 1996 nissan serena which isnt working nissan dealers cant decide if this car has a cutoff switch or not. if any one knows please tell me and more importantly where it is .have been told red button near the battery cant find it my car is red and isnt making problem any easier. mNever heard of that model.. What country are you in? Maybe the Serena is a foreign moddel of the Sentra. OOps, I googled, and it looks like a van.
I found this. It may or may ot be relevant to your situation: ................................. "Nissan uses an oil pressure switch as a safety cut off for the fuel pump. If the oil pressure switch is defective is could cause the fuel pump to turn off. I would check the fuel pump relay to see if it has power when the car cuts off. If there is no power to the pump you have found the problem and now you need to see if it is the relay or the oil pressure switch. " WElcome to the board, Brad  .....................
