OK, I didn't think this was going to be that much trouble. I'm trying to get my LSD out and a locker into the rearend of my Pathy. I have a donor open diff lined up so I can put a LockRight in it.

I talked to the dealer about just switching the case and he said the ring gears are different, one has 10mm bolts while the other has 12mm bolts. Fine. I'll go get the complete third member from the 1990 XE V6 with the manual tranny to put in my 88. The dealer than tells me that he's almost sure the side axles are bigger in the 90 than in my 88, both 31 spline but bigger!? (they are showing different part numbers in the manual but that doesn't mean anything)

Can somebody please tell me if this is true? Or what is what because I'm about to freak out on somebody... All I want to do is put a locker in my Pathy and I can't figure out the details...

Please help...
