Well, I'm assuming your IFS is the same as ours, except the differential is on the opposite side (we have left side pumpkin here in the states). And, being a 4cyl, we have no locker, or lmtd slip options for our IFS. The Nissan 6cyl does though.

The pumpkin stays on the left side even for RHD models. The question would be whether they might have put an R200 axle in the front in the later model 4 bangers.
The way to tell whether it is an R180 is to check if the tube on the right hand side is bolted to the pumpkin. If it is an R200 there are no bolts, the tube is pressed or welded in to the pumpkin.
