I recently purchased a 94 Pickup with the 2400 4 Banger in it. It has the Power Steering belt removed. I was told that He did it for more HP and Milage. Also, the truck seems underpowered for the 31 x 10.50's it's packin around. Could you guys shed some light on these issues for me. Thanks.... Youre great !
Bigger tires is gonna make it less torquey fer shure... the power steering belt removed is mickey mouse gas savings.. put a belt on and flush the PS fluid out w/ new.

first problem is you have a 4 banger. Unless you did an engine swap or change r/p in the axles, there isn't anything you can do about it (unless you want to put small tires on there).
GOT ANY BALLS??????????

I really question the power steering thing. Sounds like a cover up for a problem to me. What doofus would arm wrestle a power steering box with no power intentionally?

I thought not having power steering was one of those things in the 70's that was supposed to help increase horsepower. I thought it was just not having a/c. I now i broke my power steering belt and it was no fun. I would try to fix it. It can't be that big of a performance booster.
Yea the truck was a street truck built for looks. You can tell by the skid pans they aint never seen any real wheelin. Not a scratch on them. I will hook up the powersteering and be on my way. Again...... Thanks
