My buddy bought a used 004 4.9 diff from car-parts.com

I have never seen a 1310 yoke on a H233b before.Confused

Were gonna put it in his 94pathy. After swapping the carrier. And I guess the companion flange.

What is this???

It does look like an 4.90 H233B 3rd, but you're right, I've never seen that before either.

Thats wild!

Any chance you could pull it off to count splines and measure things for us?

I'm wondering if I can get a 1350 yoke to fit my H233b to match the 1350 on my d300 rear output.

Awesome, It would be pretty radical if you could throw a 1350 u-joint on a H233b.

The stock Nissan drive shafts came with 1310 u-joints. The downside to the yoke pictured is it's a strap style yoke and not a u-bolt style.

For strength purposes I would swap over the normal h233b pinion yoke. Mich more stronger design.

OK I should get the diff tonight.

I found out by Brent the 2wd h233s are pinion sensor, 4wd h233s are wheel sensor.

In 10/04 Nissan started using the spicer 1310 yoke on w/d22 2004 models. Wierd since only a few later the D40/N50 came out.

I hope I can take of that spicer yoke and put on the companion flange.

I confirmed in FAST that Nissan did change flanges in 10/04 on the w/d22. Eyes

Just wierd.

More pics to come.

Well I had to make a jig to get the spicer flange off. The normal flat flange WILL bolt right up it appears.

trusty 5' breaker bar

tone rings 04 and 94

both h233s compared to little dana 44 one. All 1310.

NICE. Looks like the h23b axle housing is not that thick.

Its about 1/4" or more. Very thick IMO. took me 3 or 4 days to cut up. I can measure it if you want.

Your d-shaft shop can machine that for u-bolts which could be a better set-up.

We are junking the yoke for the stronger flat flange. Want to use stock shaft also.

It is way beefier than a dana 44 1310 though.
