I think they'll fit. I only know one person who has installed them, and that was on a '95 with an auto. He was pleased with the results, though they're not easy to install, and he had problems with exhaust leaks through the supplied gaskets.

I've kept my stock headers because the Thorley headers have to be modified to much for me to bother. Auto or Manual you have to modify them alot.

For the money the problems you'll have installing them, it's just not worth it. Yes in the end you'll mostly get sound. Power gains are from opening up the exhaust system. IE: High flow cat, muffler, while keeping recommended backpressure.

I have them installed on my '95 pathfinder with auto transmission. They fit fine, albeit the crossover pipe hangs a little low. I let someone else install them after they drilled out a few of my manifold studs. The only spot that leaked on mine was the slip-joint in the middle of the crossover pipe. Some people weld the joint, but I just used a clamp because I might want to remove and sell them when I'm done with the truck. The leak goes away once the pipes heat up. I also installed a magnaflow cat and flowmaster 50 series muffler all 2.25" piping. The difference in power was not really substantial but it has a pleasant bark when you put your foot into it. I replaced everything because my stock exhaust was rusted to shiat with dents and holes everywhere.

your best bet with an air filter is stay stock. The stock air filter will keep more water and debris out of your engine. Believe it or not the stock filter does a better job of filtering the air then a K&N or any other air filter on the market.

Here's some good info

I know that having an oiled cotton filter (k+n, fram airhog) might save your arse if you hit some deep water without a snorkel. I've seen paper ones with holes blown clear through them after taking a decent puddle at speed. I have one of those airhog filters on my truck and it seems to work fine. No difference in power.
