has anyone done this? i have a msd 6a sitting in the corner of my shop that wants to be in my truck. and has anyone confirmed that the 240sx intake manifold will work or not on the same motor?

Yes, on a V6. Haven't seen it done on a 4cyl. Here's a how-to.

FYI.
The stock ignition system on a Nissan truck has plenty of power. You are not going to notice any major power gains by upgrading to a MSD. Pretty much the stock ignition system has plenty of power for anything you plan to do to the VG or KA engine. Even if I was going to turbo charge a VG or KA truck engine I would leave the ignition system as is. 1995 KC XE-V6 4x4. |
