Okay, so now i'm having probs with my rear ARB. It doesn't want to disengage. There is a little bit of oil in the line at the diff. I've had to blow it out, but there shouldn't be oil in the line?
Also now i have to remove the line from the diff to let the pressure off. flipping switches doesn't do it. there is that signature puff of air so i think the compressor and soli are working.
My installer has no clue, as usual. Any suggestions?

If removing the line DOES completely disengage the locker I would think there is something holding residual preasure in the line. I have been told the arb solinoids are sensative to dirt and found $17 replacments from a mac valves supplier (just in case)

and just a guess..

Is your diff breather clogged?

Pull the ARB line and blow the oil out with an air compressor. You may need to replace the solenoid too. Once you do that, you will want to try to actuate the ARB a few times to expell any oil thats trapped in there, then blow the line out again.

If that doesnt fix it, it may be time for an overhaul with new O-rings in the locker. Its something that has to be done after a few years of service when the O-rings start letting gear oil into the locker.

J had a piece of plastic in his fail that caused it to stay locked all the time. He'd have to provide details on what that part was.
